Choosing the right piece

What is the difference between a watch box, a travel case and a watch winder?

A watch box stores and displays your watches at home. A travel case carries a smaller selection while you are away. A watch winder can keep a compatible automatic watch moving between wears. Choose according to where and how you use your collection.

How do I choose the right size for my watches?

Start with the number of spaces you need, then compare the product’s stated dimensions with your watch case, bracelet and cushion fit. Capacity alone cannot guarantee a fit for every watch. Ask us for a specific interior measurement if your watch is particularly large or small.

Are the watches in the photographs included?

No. They show how the storage piece can be used and are not included. The selected box, travel case or winder and any available options are described on its product page.

Watch boxes and travel cases

How should I store watches when I am not wearing them?

Keep them clean and dry, away from prolonged direct sunlight. Separate watches so their cases and bracelets do not rub together. Follow the watchmaker’s guidance for your movement and materials. See our watch storage guide for a fuller routine.

Does a watch box wind an automatic watch?

No. A watch box is for storage and display; it does not wind the movement. A compatible watch winder is a separate, optional product.

How do I protect a watch while travelling?

Secure it on the case’s cushion, check the case closes without pressing on the watch, and keep separate watches from touching. Check airline and security rules for your route. A travel case does not replace careful handling or insurance. Our travel checklist covers more detail.

Watch winders

What is a watch winder?

A watch winder rotates a compatible automatic watch in timed cycles while it is off your wrist. It can be convenient if you prefer the movement to keep running between wears, but it is not required for every owner. Read our guide to watch winders.

Do automatic watches need a watch winder?

No. An automatic watch can stop when not worn and be set again following its maker’s instructions. A winder is an optional convenience. Check the requirements for your exact watch movement before using one.

What direction and turns per day should I set?

There is no reliable setting based on brand name alone. Find the manufacturer’s guidance for your exact model or calibre, then check that your chosen winder offers a compatible programme. Quartz and hand-wound watches do not need a winder.

Delivery, returns and support

How much does UK delivery cost and when will my order arrive?

Standard UK delivery is £2.95. Typical estimated arrival is 8–12 calendar days after ordering; delivery may take up to 35 calendar days. We use a 20:00 Europe/Paris cut-off, Monday to Friday, to calculate estimates, not to promise same-day dispatch. See our shipping policy.

Can I return an item?

You can request a return within 30 days of receiving it. For a change-of-mind return, you pay the return postage. Check eligibility, the return address and how to start a request in our returns policy. Your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods are not reduced.

How do I track my order?
